 Since 1975, Sitec North America has proudly operated a quartz quarry located at Petit Lac Malbaie, in the Charlevoix region, as well as another similar quarry in the northern region of Fermont. The extracted ore is used for industrial purposes, notably for the production of metallic silicon, quartz surfaces, and construction products.
